Austin had the opportunity to go to the Palmyra Temple for baptisms for the dead this morning. For those of you who do not know, the Temple sits on the original site of the Smith Family Farm and is directly across from the Sacred Grove and Hill Cummorah. This was the first time he was able to participate. He said it was a "special experience" and that the Temple was "all nice and the font room was very nice". He added that he "felt good while he was in there". The pictures are of the Alden Branch (our Branch) Deacon's and the Young Men/Young Women from the Branch.

That is so awesome. What a great experience to go there. I love that you were able to get a picture of them. Austin looks so handsome too! I also LOVE that he "felt good while he was in there"... precious.
Austin, that is so neat that you got to go to the temple. It is a very special feeling when you are in the temple and to think about the people who you did the work for. Grandma and Grandpa want to come see you guys when we get home and go to the temple. I wish that you could send some snow this way it has been very hot and rainey. I think that the boy got in trouble just so they could sleep in your bed, like someone did when he was little. We love you and miss you.
